blaze741
I have a damaged rim that I want swapped, but the dealer claims the tpms is permanent. Are the tpms modules removable? I am trying to put the module from a 09 onto a identical rim from an 06. Do I really need to buy a brand new tpms module?
Meshanks07
They are removable. Dealership just wants you to spend money.
GearOnePerformance
the sensors separate from the valvestem....you most likely need to get a valvestem...they dont like to come out...in one piece
blaze741
thanks for the info. worked it out with the dealer. I just need to pay for the valve stem (6 dollar part) in order for the tpms to be reused. other than that, i'm all set.
