Moddiction
Just making sure this is the complete kit and won't need anything additional. I am looking to get the H7 Morimoto Elite HID kit from Theretrofitsource. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=3893 Just making sure I don't need anything else that is not included with it. Ill see if I'm happy with the output. If not I will pick up a set of HID projectors and bake the lights. WWW.MODDICTION.COM Moddiction Stainless steel and Titanium shift knobs. AkumaMax
If you want true plug and play you would like to have 9007 to H7 Adapters they might even carry them on the website. I got mine from ebay
Moddiction
I thought the stock ones were H7? Why would I need an adapter harness? AkumaMax
Well I am not sure about this kit but they are plug and play in a way. My HID kit came with 2 male spade connectors like this one shown.http://www.lambrettaspares.com/images/products/mbe/mbe0053.jpg. One for Positive and one for Negative. slide them into the headlight plug on your car and all is well. Now that is not my idea of plug and play. Plug and play means no wires or anything exposed to any elements period(not be able to be shorted out in any way) so I bought the H7 harness(an extra $15 shipped) and made it plug and play. http://www.hidxenonlights.com/images/H7Plug.jpg

12sechatch
Don't waste your $150, and just spend the extra money and get the 'retroquik' system now. Gets you true HID projectors as well. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=254 In my experience, you have two options: 1. get the cheapest Chinese 'drop in' kit available (they are all the same, so you should never spend over $50) <-this is a crappy option, but cheap 2. Spend the money and do it right. If you're not going to do it right, dont spend over $50.
Moderators BarManBean Posted February 21, 2013 Moderators Share Posted February 21, 2013 I have a full retroquik setup, new in box minus bulbs (just pick 'em up from TRS) if you are interested. Might part ways with it... "Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>> Not currently in stock
Moddiction
Not sure I feel like opening up my headlights. Done it a few times on other cars and pain in the butt. Many have been very happy with the TRS HID kit it seems. I know the output won't be quite as good but from imagines and videos it looks pretty good. My other car is an S2000 and those things have some awesome projectors on them mated with some osram cbi 5000k bulbs gives an incredible light output! Barmanbean might be interested though. Let me know how much you are selling them for. WWW.MODDICTION.COM Moddiction Stainless steel and Titanium shift knobs. Drivetrain, suspension, brakes, exhaust, cooling, fuel, gauges+MUCH more!
