fuzzydd
Hi guys, I have a high pitched squealing noise from my front left that varies with speed, I can hear it most clearly in parking lots. It will stop if I come to a complete stop, so obviously it's a rotating part. However, it's on and off, any ideas what it could be?
BoostAddict
Are you only hearing it when you give it gas, or does it make the noise all the time?

bakabakablah
I've also heard this noise but for my car it seems like it happens when I've been through some stop-and-go traffic. Doesn't really affect anything but it's rather embarrassing driving around with a squeal that can clearly be heard by anyone near by. Took it to the dealership and of course, they couldn't replicate the sound (or the stutter on acceleration for that matter) but as soon as I took it back I had both problems come up again on the way home. I did a bit of searching and I think there might be two possibilities... one is the wheel bearing on its way out, and the second is having some crap stuck in the axle somewhere.
