maanh86 Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 So I bought a second hand zero sports grill and it seems as though it won't fit properly. I have a jdm Legacy GT 2005(im from NZ) and was told that it should fit. However while attempting to place it, the bonnet latch(the thing used to open the bonnet) gets in the way of the mesh. Compared to the stock grill, which doesn't even cross paths with the bonnet latch. I'm wondering if this will fit at all, also thinking about taking it to a panelbeater for some help. maanh86 Posted August 27, 2011 Author Share Posted August 27, 2011 I've just come back from the panelbeater and he said that its not gonna fit The grill is pretty much too big, even when put on the bonnet wont close properly and its not really possible to access the bonnet latch.. what gives?? Have a look at the headlights in this thread from clubsub: http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,21211.0.html look at post #9 you can see the different shapes of the headlights on the 2 black wagons. Does this mean I also have a pre-face lift legacy? I was really looking into getting a different grill like the zerosports grill.
