Scoobyflat6
Hello I'm new to the forum. I have a 2010 3.6r, and I want to put 19's on it bc anyone that has seen the 5th gens you know they just scream for 19's. So I'm thinking about 19x8 wheels with either 215/35, 225/35 tires. And suggestions? Fenders are rolled also.
minuccims
For a 5th gen, 225/35 on 19x8s is really not over sized. In fact, compared to a 3.6R limited, they are actually undersized by -3%. Side wall from 4.43" reduced to 3.1". 225/40s increase sidewall height to 3.54"; oversized +0.88%. This is a better selection. The only thing to consider is offset, but it would need to be quite aggressive to be an issue. edit: in the 5th gen area, there is an aftermarket wheel thread that has several pics of 19" setups. Drift Motion
go for 20", they look better, and it's easier to find tires PM "Hanger" he might want to sell his...haha
Scoobyflat6
Ok thanks guys. Next question is wheels spacers? I'm not sure weather to get 10mm or 15mm spacers. My wheels are et 35. I would like to get them flush with the fenders. Anyone mess around with that at all? Or maybe point me in the right direction?
