squid372
Hi guys. I am boosting 1.5 bar and my boost pipes keep popping off. Rebuilt the motor - now fully forged:hide: running with an APS tsr70 turbo. Does not matter how tight we make the clamp on the silicone to the turbo. how do you guys stop this from happening. Max Capacity
Can you show us a picture of what the flange on the turbo looks like ? I'm guessing the lip is not big enough for the hose to get a good bite on. I'm guessing you know what the bead or lip on boost tubing should look like? http://www.grimmspeed.com/top-mount-intercooler-subaru-02-07-wrx-04-16-sti/?gclid=CNWj9uiY2coCFYEfHwod_TQAfQ See that lip ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
