mrmegadeth
Has anyone tried or inquired with Kenwood if the KNA-DV3200 can be replaced with the KNA-G610, Garmin receiver? I'd be curious if it would be a 1:1 swap with the all the preexisting hardware being maintained. I flipped through the installation manual and couldn't really see a very clear pin-out of the plugs on the Garmin unit.
mrmegadeth
Letter to Kenwood sent... I currently have the KNA-DV3200 DVD-based unit hooked to a FGZ000UF2 Display unit. I am curious if your KNA-G610 could replace the DV3200 in that configuration. If it could, would the plugs for the DV3200 plug directly into the G610 or would modification be required? Is the FGZ000UF2 even capable of controlling the G610? What about the antenna for the DV3200, would that be adequate for the G610? Thank you for any answers you can provide. mrmegadeth
Yeah I did do a search for the G610 before posting but never had anything come up. Found that same thread another way 5 minutes after I posted, thanks though.
