legacyshawn
I've been reading around about trying to subs in the HK system but didn't really follow them 100% and since my Subwoofer just blew, i'm on the market for an upgrade. I want to get a more powerful open-air (infinite baffle) sub. I looked at the DLS 8" which I liked esp. for the price, but I question the amount of power the stock amp puts out. I really want to just keep the stock amp and stereo, so my question is it possible to take the speaker level wire to sub from the HK amp and boost that power? what would be the cheapest way to get nice tight louder bass? legacyshawn
Just read somewhere that the stock HK amp has two sub outputs. Does anyone know if the amp is bridgeable? If it is perfect? Just gotta somehow figure out the RMS of each channel
09blkL3g
i think the stock sub is 8ohms if i recall...maybe 50wrms... get a cheap pro dj style sub from some place ilke partsexpress.com, if the ohm loads match up, you wont have much to worry about...
