I'm going try n do some logging this weekend. I found TDC's wanted parameters and the ones listed on RomRaider's website FAQ... Should I try both or just one or the other?

Edit: Mods..

Cobb Catted Down Pipe

Log the following parameters:

Engine Speed (rpm)

Engine Load (Direct)* (g/rev)

Ignition Timing (degrees)

Knock Correction (degrees)

Manifold Rel. Pressure (Corrected) (psi)

Mass Air Flow (g/s)

Primary Wastegate Duty Cycle (%)

Throttle Opening Angle (%)

Log 3rd gear from 2K-redline and don't log IAM just check it before and after your pull.

IIRC they are very similiar. I would do the RomRaider ones, more up to date with whatcan currently be logged.

I really hope we don't find another case of TDC map knocking all the time. If you have goood gas I think it will be OK though.

This is what I like to log:

Engine Speed (rpm)

Engine Load (Direct)* (g/rev) (I use the log file interpolation to figure this out from g/s and rom)

Ignition Timing (degrees)

Knock Correction (degrees) (I prefer FBKC, easier to read IMO)

Manifold Rel. Pressure (Corrected) (psi)

Mass Air Flow (g/s)

Primary Wastegate Duty Cycle (%)

Throttle Opening Angle (%)

Log 3rd gear from 2K-redline and don't log IAM just check it before and after your pull.

Also make a note of air temps, app elevation, and do it on a level road (if you want to be able to figure out whp)

Then use the learning view tool, and check AFR learning A, B , C & D

Feel free to change my list if you think it can be better for neebies.

The RomRaider FAQ had some params that were not listed in my install of RomRaider.. "extend/enhanced"? I think you need to have your ECU connected before you can pick those.. which is fine but my profile used their recommended replacements.

Ill make a profile for infamous1's parameters also. Ill make a few pulls, 1-2 of each set of params and see what happens.

Car runs good so hopefully we wont see any problems! :)

This is all excellent, however I think it is a bit too advance for someone new to logging. The parameters I listed are great for posting logs and letting experienced members diagnose.

Agreed, but I even for beginners logging FBKC vs DA is easier.

Recording temps is also pretty easy.
