alegend90
Anyone know of a reliable shop around my area that's familiar with Subaru maintenance? I want to get my timing belt and water pump done but would really prefer to stay away from a stealership or chain shop if possible (unless i hear good things). Anyone have good luck with any places? Doing it myself is not an option at this point and it would also be nice to get established with a trustworthy person/shop. Thanks for any input! Mikee7117
I need one to how much is install running for these days? Just had mine done, most shops around me quoted 800-900. Had my timing belt/water pump, seals, and spark plugs done for 800 from an ex subie tech running a small shop.

SilverGSX
A good friend of mine was a subaru tech for a while. I'm sure he'd do it for you if you'd like. Just helped me tear down my engine and put it all back together, runs like a champ now.

subie.snob
Range Auto in Somersworth NH 603-742-2000 Steve and Paul will hook it up at $70 p/hr I'm thinking about having them do my timing belt work. Have you had much done here? Do you know how they feel about bringing in your own parts? I'm going to give them a call but figured I would feel things out a bit first.
