17" GT wheels on third gen outback

Trying to see if anyone has fit the stock 17x7 GT wheels on a third gen subaru. I have an 07 gt which is in hibernation and I drive a 2000 outback wagon for the winter. I want to put snow tires on the stock GT wheels since they're wasting away in my garage and use them on the 00 outback but wanted to confirm they would fit before I buy them. I've searched all over and haven't been able to confirm. I'm 95% sure it should fit without a problem but it would be costly to find out they didnt after I bought and mounted tires. It would be going from a 225/60/16 on 16x7 et 45 to a 205/50/17 on 17x7 et 55. Thanks
