coppertone
Great plan and am looking forward to the finished product. 2010 2.5GT limited is for sale.
MRLancaster
Luckily the 13's have the same motor and specs as the TS's when it comes to the motor.
Scooby-GT
What exactly is a 2013 tS? Do you have the specs of it? That tiny quad tip exhaust looks funny.
MRLancaster
Yeah, not much of a fan of the quad exhaust. That's why I ordered the Q300. keeps an OEM look.
Scooby-GT
Will the Q300 bolt onto the single pipe 6MT? What are your plans for suspension?

MRLancaster
Interesting that the regular site says 2012, but the translates to 09. But it's the specs for the 12. The main change with the 13's is the upgraded suspension and aero parts. Edited May 29, 2014 by MRLancaster
MRLancaster
They also make Black TS's, so I can deal with the black for now at least.
L3go
I'm digging this idea. Japanparts.com can source a lot of this stuff for you. I personally like the alternator cover.

MRLancaster
subscribed. Here's my recent findings regards to JDM grille fitment  Wow! I did notice there was a difference in my previous thread I made, but damn. Didn't realise there was THAT Much of a difference. So the bottom lines up fine however? Now I'm curious, I would be willing to buy a hood from over there should I have to. (Going to get the car painted by the end of this anyway) But what I'm curious now is the headlights. Does anyone know if there is a difference? When it comes to the 3rd gens A-C Type VS D Type, they look the same but are completely different. If you want them to line up correctly, you have to get the whole front bumper and hood.
MRLancaster
I'm going to get one of the guys with the european or Japanese spec Legacys to measure these sections for me. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k115/T-Ho_man/grille2_zps9527b8be.jpg

Hanger
For the headlights i'm sure there are no differences between JDM and USDM. There is a A-C BR in Japan that's running USDM headlights on his JDM front. â—‹ â—‹ â—‹ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: â—‹ â—‹ â—‹Â
Hanger
I'm going down the same road as you, but i don't have the determination to pull the trigger on hood, grille & bumper all together lol â—‹ â—‹ â—‹ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: â—‹ â—‹ â—‹Â

exbagboy
Wait, a JDM guy replaced his headlights with USDM??? That makes no sense.
Perscitus
He's cool like that (lol). I've seen a USDM-spec trend in Japan.  Toyota, Honda and Mazda guys seem to do the same thing. A whole scene 'loves' USDM bumpers, orange reflectors, US license plates. The closer to USDM spec or 'ghetto-fabulous', the better. Reminds me of how chrome tailights for many cars are advertized as 'Euro-look' (no clue how?) in the US and 'Lexus/Altezza-look' in Europe. With Lexus traditionally recognized as an exotic US brand (*cough* rebaged needless mark-up Toyota *cough*) hence the Altezza reference (Toyota Altezza was the JDM name for the 1st-gen Lexus IS as sold in Japan). I guess they sell better this way, sounding exotic on both sides of the pond for vastly different reasons.

MRLancaster
nah, it'll be Rev A-D conversion  Mind if I ask what you are going to be mixing? I'm in LOOVE with the D-type front end. It's what made me get mine. Had a third gen, and was looking for a daily, was looking into a 4th gen, then the D-type came out. And I was sold. MRLancaster
The A-C's were just very bland. However I am quite jealous of the lips you guys have availible now. Hehe
