My tuner stuck a wire crimp in to replace the stock pill. Cheap HP. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). I was pulling 19psi with the stock turbo with catless up/dp and a tmic. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). So few people actually get dynoed on a stock setup that it's cool to see the progression. Thanks! This brings up an installation question. I know I've read it somewhere but is the pill swap just that? Or does the stock one need to be cut out? How do you get the new one in the hose? If there's a walkthrough somewhere I haven't found it.
