195 hp/ 196 tq mustang dyno ( stock)

That was the results on my last pull (3rd pull)

My best tq was 203

 

The dyno sheet shows max power throughout 3200 rpm to 6000 rpm

 

I'm quite happy ! 2005 legacy, 102k miles, and stock everything with a catless uppipe

If your going to spend the money on a dyno tune, might as well put a smaller boost pill in. My tuner stuck a wire crimp in to replace the stock pill. Cheap HP.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

Very nice! Get some EL headers for another 10+ ponies :) or just drive it the way it is and be happy

 

Or get a smaller boost pill, a wire splice, cost is about a dollar and get more boost, and much more HP. I was pulling 19psi with the stock turbo with catless up/dp and a tmic.

For 3-4 bucks you can get a package of 20 of them. Most of us have some in the tool box allready, just strip the plastic off and stick it inside the vacume hose.

Cool to see some stock numbers to compare too. So few people actually get dynoed on a stock setup that it's cool to see the progression. Thanks!

 

This brings up an installation question. I know I've read it somewhere but is the pill swap just that? Or does the stock one need to be cut out? How do you get the new one in the hose?

 

If there's a walkthrough somewhere I haven't found it. I've got a 16G going in and a 1.0mm pill for it as well.
