caramall2
My ACT clutch is starting to slip in 4th gear, high torque (3.5-4.5k rpm). Wondering if I baby it, how long might I get out of it...days? Weeks? I just don't have the time to put one in at the moment :-( I realize I soon will have no choice... In case you're wondering, the clutch is ACT HD clutch with Modified Street disk & WRX flywheel, about 25k miles on it (car has 75k).
trackhore
I milked a slipping stock clutch for nearly two years. Wife's TOB puked, her clutch started slipping, car was undrivable in less than two days.
caramall2
Yikes! Thanks for feedback. Sounds like a crap shoot. Will probably rent a car for the short trip I need to go on...not worth the risk once out of town.
