archer1.8
I had my moms 05 2.5i on 4 jackstands and had it idle there. I was looking to see what wheel bearing was bad. I got a speed sensor CEL and with the ABS light and cruise control blinking. Which I expected. Now the car idles really really low and it stalls when you come to a stop. I cleared the code with my scanner, and pulled the battery. Any ideas? I dont have my laptop to clear the TCU right now.
apexi
So do you mean the car started running rough and stalling after you had the battery removed? If so, this is normal. 2.5i's are temperamental after the ecu has been reset
Blake23
my old 08 2.5i took about 100 miles to re calibrate the ecu after the battery was disconnected.it would constantly die when i came to stop lights..
archer1.8
I had it on the jackstand and cleared the code via OBD scanner. Then started it and it ran like crap. Pulled the terminal and did an ECU reset. Still no change
