proflatlander15
My drivers side seat belt won't click in. Started a few days ago. The prong pushes in, it just never clicks and engages. Any idea on how to fix it?
proflatlander15
I'll give that a try! Seems easy enough.
proflatlander15
Bump for some other suggestions. I tried air and WD-40, but no luck.
miltoney
I would replace the unit if there was even a chance that something was wrong with it.
RuskiTrombone
I believe seatbelts are warrantied for the life of the vehicle. I could be wrong, but I would google search first.
proflatlander15
Fixed it. A while back I disabled the chime by breaking the chip inside the buckle. Turns out a broken piece of the chip wedged itself into the spring to the point where the belt wouldn't engage. Stupid mistake, easy fix. Thanks guys. Loki
don't think the warranty covers breaking a safety feature on purpose.
