mattcornelison Posted September 7, 2013 Share Posted September 7, 2013 I got into my car today and the interior smelt like fireworks but no smoke?? Car ran and drove just fine but the windows would not move at all and im getting a clicking sound like every 5 seconds from fuse box. Could this be just the relay burnt out or wiring? jbangoy Posted September 7, 2013 Share Posted September 7, 2013 Check that none of your window switches are stuck, someone had an issue a few weeks back where his window switch was stuck up and was causing a clicking sound and other accessories were not working when it clicked. I have noticed lately that my driver side window one was acting funny and has rough movement when using the switch its not as easy as the other ones. My passenger window was a little down and i was able to get it up by messing with the switch enough. could this smell be a short at the switch? Noticed seats werent working either ended up being driver seat control fried. Hopefully its the switch and not the wiring.
