18x8.5 +45 w 235 Dunlop StarSpecs (bought them used to check size before I go bigger)

Subietonic and Gire, it's the "old-timer's syndrome" again. Too many of the old crowd poking fun at each other in a good-natured way.

To tell the truth, I've been surfing this thread a little, of-late, as I'm thinking about adding a third set of rims, paired with studded tires, for our "dead of winter" use.

2006 Spec-B with 18x8.5 48 TR Motorsports MT1's running 235/40 General UHPs, on Progress springs.

What do you guys think of these?

They're Volk CE28N reps so they are definitely nice. I believe rs6er is rocking them in 18x8.5.

Not cheap either, $800 before rings and caps.

Like the wheel, just not a fan of the multi-fit PCD (5x100 & 5x114.3)

LOL. I doubt seriously those are 800/pc. And $800 for a set of 18s is not expensive. I would personally shell out the extra $100 to get a set of rotas with single PCD and that would include hubcentric rings and caps. Plus, you would have a variety of offsets and finishes available.

$800/set is for the 17x8 model, the 18x8.5 is $900/set.

 

Still cheap considering the real deal in 17x8 is $700 EACH.

what i figured it was for all four, then yea dude they are cheap when it comes to wheels.

Check out the Kyowa KR206, they are also CE28 replicas. Pretty cheap and decent quality from what I've heard.

Linea Corse Lemans, Silver w/ a polished Lip. 18x8.5 +45 w/ 235/40/18 Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1's. These puppies are perfectly flush with Racecomp Tarmac 1's at the preset height from Myles with -1 degree of camber upfront. I could not be happier!
