gregmontalbano
So about a year ago I decided to mod the "upper center console" (I put it in quotes because i'm really not sure what it's called, it's the piece with the two vents on either side, and it flips open to hold stuff) to put a GPS in. It worked really well, see pics below. But now I would like to replace it, and go back to the flip-up storage original center console. I'm sure you can buy the part somewhere, but is there any other option besides a dealer? zmarko
It's called a cubby. Search in the classified section, they pop up in there every so often, usually pretty inexpensive too.
goneskiian
I found it at subarugenuineparts.com for $66.31. Here's what they called it: "Collision Catalog - 2007 - Subaru - Legacy Instrument panel, Ducts, Center panel, W/o navigation sys., W/o navigation sys." It's kind of hard to find but if you're up for searching go to the link for the "OEM Catalog" in the links at the top of the home page. Look for "Instrument Panel", "Ducts" and "Center Panel". if you can get it to show you a picture that makes it easier. Cheers! -Ian

gregmontalbano
I just did a whole write up, and my browser crashed. Awesome ^_^. But thanks a lot Ian, it seems worth it if they can just get me a new one with no hassle. And ppettit2005, i'll re-do the write up later tonight for you

Thanks I think what you want is #14 in the picture here: http://opposedforces.com/parts/legacy/us_b13/type_7/body_equipment_interior/instrument_panel/illustration_2/. You should talk to Jeremy (user name FredBeansParts) on the forums here to get the exact part you need. Didn't want to hijack the thread... but I'm in need of same part.. well almost.. You need part #12 on this page: http://opposedforces.com/parts/legacy/us_b13/type_1/electronic/audio_parts_radio/illustration_1/ It doesn't look like that plastic piece is sold separately. You'll have to make sure to get the correct part because beginning in '07 Subaru started putting different clocks in the GT and 2.5i.
