Running Lights don't turn off

Recommended Posts

My running lights will not turn off with the switch turned off (DRLs disabled- for a long time now) or with the key out and car off. The past couple days I've just been taking the fuse out until it gets dark when I need my tail lights to work!

I have a friend that believes its the turn signal relay - the switch for the turn signal and lights. He got under the plastic around the steering column and disconnected the harness for the switch and the lights - with the fuse in - turned off. I'm not sure if that's a direct indication that it's the turn signal relay or not...

Anybody help???

The new subies don't have that :(

It is what makes a subie a subie though.
