johnrhopkins
I have narrowed my search down to two almost identical cars. Both are 2005 Legacy GT Wagons, silver, auto in great shape. One has about 37k miles and I can get it for $14k (after negotiating) The other has about 47k miles and I can get it for $13k (haven't negotiated yet). Is 10,000 fewer miles a good trade for $1,000. I've looked at so many cars I just don't know any more. Thoughts?
Molal24
If you have the extra money go with the 14k one. However make sure that the 30,000 mile work has been done on them. Odds are the 47k has it already. If the 37k doesn't have it done, go with the 13k one. Which one has better tires and rims? lawl
neither. if you're going for 05 wagons, get a manual! but seriously, what are your plans? every day point A to point B ? hardcore modding? location? would help us help you! (at least... have a better shot at it) car for sale. PM me!
johnrhopkins
I'd love to get a manual, but they are so rare, every one I found is either over 100k miles or they think it is made of gold and want $17k for it. What I want is a low miles, 05, Black GT Limited wagon, preferably with a manual tranny. What I have decided is acceptable is a low miles, GT Wagon. My plans are just to drive it, I might mod a bit, but I'm off the modding thing as my last car was up to 350hp and cost me almost 25 cents/mile to drive it just for gas. It will be a daily driver. I'm in Richmond, Va, but I would fly up to 100k miles to get the right car for the right price. Both cars I'm looking at are not near me, but are near each other. neither. if you're going for 05 wagons, get a manual! but seriously, what are your plans? every day point A to point B ? hardcore modding? location? would help us help you!
