Leonardo
Well, here is a cliffnotes from NASIOC: Points be damned, I'm posting this here. Some of you already know this, but many of you do not. Last Wednesday Tom@Kartboy went into the doc to see about some chest pain he'd been having. Turns out that this was no minor issue. After extensive testing, probing, proding, and much worry he went under the knife last friday. The plan was a double bypass. While they were in there they ended up doing a quad. That's right, a quadruple bypass on a guy that's 36 years old. I don't know if any of you have experience with pricing on something like this. I know we don't, but I can guess it's pretty darned expensive. Plus, since Tom has been pretty much on his own for a good long time (no group health care) I'm betting that he's going to have a bunch of that bill come out of pocket. So, we got to thinking that there's got to be some way we can help Tom. Afterall, over the years he's helped countless others on this board. It's time for us to return the favor, but in this one you get a little something in return. With the help of KC from RallyDecals.com we're going to offer the following Kartboy stickers starting tomorrow. Price will be $3 a sticker, and will be mailed USPS first class. Tom will receive the proceeds as a check to help cover medical costs. The stickers are 6"x4.6" and will be available in the following colors: Matte Black Silver White Red http://turninconcepts.com/forums/heartboy/image0001.jpg http://turninconcepts.com/forums/heartboy/image0002.jpg http://turninconcepts.com/forums/heartboy/image0003.jpg The whole thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1590266 Also now you can Paypal donations to donations@kartboy.com

dragonman586
There was a guy from my high school who died of a 97% clogged artery and he was only 18. He was pretty athletic to he was on the football team. He was in decent shape as well.
ehsnils
In some cases problems like these are inherited. The only way out of that is to catch it really early on and have a really strict life - and even that may not help. Some things we inherit from our parents does really suck...
