AV8TORSADF
I'm looking to replace the white fog bulbs with Hoen yellow bulbs. I've not been able to find (and I did search) how to get access to the bulbs? Any help is greatly appreciated.
bluesuby
You need to go in from the bottom. Un-pop several pop rivets and pull back the fender lining. The rear of the foglight is a cover which is removed by twisting counterclockwise. The bulb is held in with a single spring clip. I found it's good to look at the clip from above before trying to remove it; you get a better sense of what to do. Be sure to wear nitrile or latex gloves to keep any perspiration or oil from your skin away from the glass bulb. How about a review or some pictures of how those yellow bulbs work? Thanks for the detailed info. I've used Hoen yellow fogs in several of my past cars. They work super well in low light conditions like in the rain or snow and at night. In rain or snow they do not reflect the light like white lights do. I highly recommend them despite the fact that they cost a little more. Here are some pics of them on my past Volvo S80 V8. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m202/csussman1/2007%20Volvo%20S80%20V8/2007VolvoS80V8005.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m202/csussman1/2007%20Volvo%20S80%20V8/2007VolvoS80V8001.jpg Here is the URL to Hoen's site and the yello fogs. http://www.hoen-usa.com/endurance.htm
