Anyone here have a catch can installed?

HOLY **** the IAG is pricey...

It looks great, but maybe overkill for a mildly modded car.

If you have access to the right tools consider making one yourself and saving a bunch of money.

Getting a used one would be another sensible option.

I think the answer is if you don't need something like Crawford / IAG you probably don't need a catch can period.

Really don't think a mildly modified car needs one. Like Tris said do you need it for bling?

If not, it's probably worth saving up for one that works well.

I have a fair bit of blow by that ends up hitting my turbo compressor

I'd fix the blow by problem before adding a catch can. Catch can is most useful when running high rpm/high boost such as a track situation. On the street, that much blow by comes from other problems.

With all things on an LGT, be careful that a symptom is not actually a red herring leading you down the well traveled road of mis-diagnosed engine problems.

My car was at high boost now that the turbo died and back to a vf40 hitting boost cut and over shooting my target should be less of a issue

Seriously either Crawford or IAG, for my stage three setup i'm getting the IAG because it's designed and the parts are all top shelf.

A catch can on our cars is just a bad idea. cornering hard puts oil in the breather system it's just a fact. do it enough your catch fills up and your system is missing that oil now. our motors do not like being short of oil.

Grimmspeed has issues but for a basic daily driven stage 2 it works. racing no.
