Street Tuner Software for the AccessPORTs-Taking Preorders !!!

We are now taking preorders for the StreetTuner software. IT basically makes the AccessPORT a fully operational engine tuning system. You will be able to write your own maps based on your custom car set up, at your own risk of course.

 

Release date is March 2, 2005.

 

Call us or email us for now while we are setting up the links on our website. We are taking preorders between now and February 23, 2005.

 

Cost for 05 Legacy GT auto or manual is 445USD shipped

The price is for the add-on to the AccessPort, correct? What is your price for just the StreetTuner unit itself?

I'm pretty sure you can only buy it as an add on to the Accessport because the StreetTuner marries itself to the Accessport, kind of like the Accessport marries itself to the ECU. If you don't have an Accessport it will be $1090 (645 AP + 445 ST).

Hi Guys,

 

StreetTuner software will enable you to fine tune your car for additonal mods. So for example, the current maps that come with the accessport do not account for cold air intake, larger interecooler, bigger injectors, etc.

 

With this new software you will be able to pick a base or a realtime map and fine tune it to your liking and then uploaded to your AccessPORT.

 

This is in addition to the AccessPORT.

 

People with this software will be able to trade maps, so if someone fine tuned a map for additional mods and you have the same mods on your car, instead of doing the tune yourself, all you would have to do is use their map.

 

The potential is endless. This software will make the AccessPORT on par with other fully tuneable ECU management systems.

Sounds good Peter. I just mentioned the standalone because I saw the pricing in: http://cobbtuning.com/legacy/under_dev.html#tuner. "Standalone = $1095". Just thought maybe they'd have it seperately, but I guess it'd make more sense to buy the AccessPort for your car and then AccessTuner software upgrade.

I know its slightly off topic but does cobb have any updates on the release date for their DP?

I dont have any updates on their downpipe yet. My guess is that it will start shipping by the end of this quarter. They are still trying to catch up to the downpipe orders for the WRX/STIs.

 

We should know 2-3 weeks in advance just as with the AccessPORT and StreetTUNER.

DAMN that is hella pricy

$1090 (645 AP + 445 ST).

you are correct, it amounts to be about the same range as the typical UTEC and ECUTek, except that you do the reflash, teak maps, you can exchange maps, etc.
