Blipblip
Bod, Paul, Giro, Jay and Lego Thanks very much guy's! The style doesn't go down as good in the UK thats some of the best comments I've had! Ruby, The Rims are 18x9.5 ET38 I did try on a few different Styles J's and offsets but stuck with the 9.5j. Gunmetalic 2 Grids (very rare Rota in the uk) This is a 18x9j ET35 Hyperblack Force. It didn't have the right amount of stretch that I was going for! http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk317/BSpoke53/Roo%20cars/Roopix536.jpg http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk317/BSpoke53/Roo%20cars/Roopix537.jpg The Grid did! http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk317/BSpoke53/Roo%20cars/roopix540-001.jpg The other thing is the amount of money spent on mods to get this stance is crazy!! Front Symms strut brace, bespoke Japanese lower 'H' brace, rear strut brace & lower rear axle brace, rolled and pulled front/rear arches, BC's BR type Full Adjustable top mount coilovers all round, front/rear 22mm heavy duty Whiteline ARB's and bushes, front/rear CDF alloy droplinks Whiteline ALK, Whiteline Roll centre kit, 4x Sets of Whiteline camber bolts Whiteline subframe lock and diff lock, uprated wheel bearings!!!£££££'s TBH if I was to put a set of 17's back on with a good bit of rubber she would make a blinding track car, shame about the weight but she's set up to handle! RubySuby97
BlipBlip, Man that is incredible. I will have to look into all of those parts you listed, because I want my leggy to be more unique and have a wide stance. The wheels I am looking at getting are 17x8.25 +25 offset. Do you think I could make it work on my 97 wagon with some pulling on the fenders a little? I have coilovers on there right now, and only front camber plates, I might have to find some rears. Let me know your thoughts, and from your experience. I love your ride.

Let me know your thoughts, and from your experience. I love your ride. Thank you (I really do appreciate it) Right I can help you with a quick cheap tip for the rears, if you have no camber plates you can get way with using two sets of camber bolts in your hubs You put them in opposite ways (I have these as well as the camber plates) I'm sure with the 17's you'll have a bit more room. With the offset, the Leggy comes with a 55 standard, I have a 38 so I would imagine a 25 would put a bit of strain on the bearings!! if it's gunna be half inch thinner rim but a difference of 13 in the offset then I would think the wheel will sit in around the same place as mine but you may get a surprise on full lock My wheels have been on and off and the hight has gone up and down and the cambers have been in and out more times than a two bob hooka' You will need to roll and pull your arches/fenders how much? you won't really know until you get it all on and trial runs (couple of big chaps in the boot/trunk might help!) wow that a sick wagon!!! i just got the same car, what did u do first? i want mine to look that sexy!!! TBH I always make my cars look clean and tidy first and then I colour coded as much as poss took the JDM Subaru 4x4 logos off clear repeaters I stripped headlights down and painted chrome satin, dumped the amber cap! This is my "how to" on the UK forum check it out. Great bunch off guys and very knowledgeable more than welcome for anyone top pop by and say hello just say Blip sent ya they all know me because of the car only Leggy with stretch-poke in Britain:cool:! http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93753 Then came the rims Black and Chrome Inovits 18x7.5 I then slammed it on my BC BR Coilovers decided on a difference in look so got the Rota's then all the added handling parts started and as said still ongoing! I'm always about to answer any more questions if I can help! Russ! Ps Is the GT/GTB a twin turbo in the USA and did they do a 2.5 BD/BG?
RubySuby97
Blip, Man I really appreciate the info on that. Camber bolts are a lot cheaper than the plates themselves thats for sure. I am thinking that I am going to have to change my wheel choice, I dont want to be that low on the offset, Need to stay in the high 30's I think. Its hard to find nice concave wheels in 5x100. My leggy is not much to look at right now, but I have a lot of plans. Going to be the cleanest Leggy where I live. I never ever see any fixed up wagons. Only wrx's and Sti's. I am going for your look! If I have any other questions I will be sure to ask you! Thanks again! Chris
