Stereo Cutting out

06 LGT Ltd. Wagon.

Stock HU. I put in Polk DB651s front and rear doors.

150Hz Bassblockers on rear speakers

Installing a 250w Basslink II tomorrow w/35w x 4 back to the door speakers.

When I turn up HU to 18 or so. All speakers shut down.

If I have balance set to +9 rear I cant turn it up past 9

If I have it set up +9 Front It'll turn up to 26. As I start to

Fade to the rear I get to about +4 Front and all speakers cut out again.

I turn it down and shut off the car. Restart the car and it works fine.

Until I turn it up or fade balance to the rear.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Shorted wire to one of the speakers. The stereo is protecting itself when the current draw gets too high due to a short somewhere.. Check all you speakers connectors for shorts to the chassis/themselves.

Did/ will do again though. Thanks. would it be more probable that it's a rear speaker then? Since it cuts out more when balance/low volume is to the rear?

Fixed
