2010 Legacy GT Daytime Running Light (DRL) Delete

Yes I searched (and even googled), and I could not find anything for a 2010 specifically.

 

My girlfriend just got a 2010 Legacy GT and hates that it has DRL's. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to disable them. All of the threads pertain to 2005-2009, I have not seen anything related to a 2010. If I missed the thread/post please point me in the right direction.

you can just take the little drl bulbs out. If you twist to the left they pop right out and everything works as normal. I replaced then with led 193 bulbs. Didn't want the yellowish colored lights. Same as the license plate lights. I'll take pics and post them when it gets dark

I never really understood why people want to disable DRL's when you can't see them while driving

But the actual drl is your high beam bulb getting a lower voltage... Anyway to disable the drl but still keep the high beams working? Or redirect the drl signal to another bulb such as an led?

you have to pull the bumper out on the drivers side to get to the plug. just a couple platonic clips.

But disabling your DRL's is the cool thing to do mang! Don't forget to tint the taillights!
