Shello007
My clutch is slowly giving up the ghost. Slips under load,. I am running Stage 2 (maybe considered 2.5- VF 52) . So the question is, do I go back to stock or go for a upgraded clutch? This is my daily driver, but I do enjoy the occasional spirited driving. Looking for most cost effective option. Brian3676
Lots of posts about this. Most suggest converting to a SMFW. I personally run a SMFW with south bend clutch. Love it. I think the FX350 is also popular around here, but I never tried it. There is lots of sales going on this weekend to buy one though!
Max Capacity
Read the threads in the tranny forum. You need a 07-09 Legacy SMFW and clutch kit. Very common set up, PM "underdog" and see what he recommends, buy what he say's. Another good place is http://www.AZPinstalls.com, ask Mike the same thing. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
