mumblinaviator
The inside diameter of one of my Spec B rims is dented to the point where the tire will not hold air for more than a day or two. Is there any safe way to pound the dent out without potentially cracking the thing? Finding a single replacement spec B rim is nearly impossible, and if I'm going to buy a set of 4, I might as well go aftermarket, so I'm trying to exhaust my options. Thanks! jasejase
you talk to a wheel repair shop? Usually cost between 75-200... Since its on the inside, they may be able to focus on the non aesthetic side, and not worry about the pricey subie wheel paint.
mumblinaviator
I haven't yet, no, but I will be later today. The paint on my wheels is aweful... apparently a manufacturing defect that allows black spots to surface on the silver paint, but remain under the clear coat. They can't be cleaned or scrubbed off. jasejase
that sucks. there's a set of 07's on ebay for like $400 not in great shape, but maybe better than yours!!!
mumblinaviator
I think it's the same set a member has on sale here as well. I contacted him about purchasing just one, but no luck just yet.
