PaulFWMotorsports Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 rod knock does not stop when you press the clutch. Listening to this sound on my pc didn't help; my hearing ain't what it used to be. However, we've had two Subarus come in with rod knock that was initially mis-diagnosed as clutch related as the sound went away when the clutch pedal was depressed.
