khalil Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Im getting a weird "chuk chuk chuk" noise coming from my 5MT. This started immediately after I went into reverse (from a stop) and had a violent feeling come from my transmission as if I dropped the clutch. Didn't make sense to me because I was going slow. The sound is coming from the rear of the transmission. Shifting feels normal and all 6 gears work normal. Any ideas? I'm going to pull the center diff and inspect soon.
