stiwanabe
So i picked up an outback hood for my car and now I have the stock non-scoop hood laying in the garage. So Im thinkin of doin a little project with the stock hood and adding a bigger hoodscoop. Would it be tacky to add a scoop even though its not a turbo car? Im debating whether to do an 02-03 STi scoop, 04-07 STi scoop, or a GC scoop with the hood vents as well.
W1CKED
There IS a difference between the '04-'05 STi scoop, and the '06-'07 STi scoop... '04-'05: http://www.scoobytuner.com/images.original/816.jpg '06-'07: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/45/190521143_fa51ac55bd.jpg I think the '04-'05 STi scoop would be waaaaaaaaay too much...IMHO. But it's your car...and your hood. Do with it as you please, and don't let anyone stop you from doing what you want.
stiwanabe
yeah, you're right. the 04-05 is HUGE. WHat I would really love to do is mold in a GR STi scoop but the aluminum to steel thing isnt gonna work too well...
