usawinston Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Hey guys, I just purchased a pre owned 09 Spec B with 3k miles. I love this beast, but I've noticed something unusual when I shift up into 4th gear at high RPM's: the shifter (not the clutch) makes a rubbing noise, almost like a clicking. When I installed my Kartboy shifter it definitely made more noise/vibration in this area -particularly around 3k rpm. Take it in and demand warranty work to get it to what you'd expect from a car with 3k miles. As long as you keep taking it in, they have to document every time you come in.
