Outback p203-UH Problems

As the title says, I am having some issues with my radio in my Outback. It all started about three months ago but has been happening way more frequently, to the tune of five times a day. Now onto the problem:

So I'll be driving along jamming out to some music and all of a sudden the radio and climate control will turn off and make a series of horrible white noise and other equally horrible sounds, then I will turn the climate control and radio off, then it turns back on and all is well. I took a brief video today of the tail end of the short, or whatever it may be.

Anyone have any ideas?

Time to pull it out and make sure everything is plugged in tightly.

Have you done any modifications to it? Aux-in or other upgrades?

Some of us over the years have had the system freeze up or become unresponsive on occasion. Happens to me about once a year, maybe a little less. But that's the first time I've heard it make noises you'd expect if an exorcist was in the room.
