Masshole
I'm getting ready to install a catless up and downpipe in my 2005 OBXT. The car is currently stage 1, tuned by BrenTuning. Am I putting my car in any danger by waiting between installing the up and downpipes and getting the car re-tuned?
scoobydoobie
Wait until you can afford the tune, then install the parts.
Masshole
More of an issue of scheduling than money. A money problem would be way easier to solve than a time problem.
NSFW
As long as you stay off of WOT, you'll be fine. Or stay completely out of boost if you want to play it really safe. If you don't trust your right foot, run a vacuum line from the compressor nipple directly to the wastegate actuator, and you'll be limited to about 12psi. If you do trust your foot, you really nothing to worry about.
