Exhaust Audio/Video Clip Compilation Thread

To be honest I was a little bit surprised on how loud it is outside of the car. Inside the car you can hear it but it’s not annoying at all you hear the turbo more imo. But it definitely has a much deeper tone to it which was exactly what I was looking for without too much attention. A HFC probably would quiet it down a little bit. My set up does have a resonator though.

My Prodrive mufflers with Perrin mids, Invidia catted DP. First is revs, second is a driveby in the snow with high revs. When the roads clear, look for higher speed drivebys. I'll post them here.

Some faster drivebys. Nice, deep and throaty I think.

Thanks for the post I was trying to decide between HKS and SPT I'm going with HKS. I have cobb intake w/ box and DP also do you hear a woooosh from your intake?

I hear a nice pronounced turbo spool and the woosh from the BPV.

man i'm still months away from doing a full tbe, but just came across this thread. this is great. question for some of you: does the dp make that big of a difference in exhaust sound or is it mostly the catback?

will something like an individa catted dp sound basically the same as a cobb catted dp if they both are using the same cbe?

tia for the reply, and thanks for this awesome thread!

The DP shouldn't change the sound much. Both dp should sound the same.

The combination of changing both UP/DP made my stock exhaust (without resonator) a lot louder.

louder before are after you took out the resonator?

i dont think one DP or another will have different sounds, but an aftermarket DP definitely makes the system louder. my Borla CBE was pretty tame before I upgraded the DP....now it's mean.
