LONO100
hi all, new to the forum here and was looking for a solution to the really slow moving power windows on my 979 legacy wagon. where would be a good palce to start diagnosing this? is it an electrical or mechanical problem? any help would be awesome, thanks. 12sechatch
if they move at all, i would assume it is a mechanical issue as they are getting power. I would measure the voltage your window motor is seeing when you push the switch. I dont know if there is a regulator inline, so assuming there isn't, you should see 12v or so. If you do, then you know something is wrong with the motor. They can't be that pricey from the junkyard...
LONO100
all four windows move up and down, the problem is that they all move at the same really really slow speed. I was thinking that there may be some corrosion on the switches or something like that.
