5 speed stick vibration on rev down

Anyone else notice a harshness/vibration on engine rev down between shifts and if so has anyone had it fixed? Sound seems to come up through the shifter and happens at highter rpm's such as shifting around 3,500 rpms. I had an 08 and it did it too so I am chalking it up as normal but it is pretty annoying and unrefined feeling. I short shift just to avoid the sound.

Well its under full warranty so I would suggest USING it. THe stick vibration is normal to a degree and without a video it will be hard to see how normal or abnormal it is. In my 08 5MT 2.5i when I decel or gear down I get some vibration up the shifter but nothing I would consider abnormal.

^^ ditto... some times even the shifter knob rattles on mine making the noise a little louder.

mine made no noise until i put in the cobb da with that i had to take off the big dust boot and that made it super loud on decel.

Yeah the vibrations make me feel good

I will take it in when I get some time and I will give an update of the findings.

You may find nothing or a bad PP and TOB like in my 2008 2.5i
