IwannaSportSedan
http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/thunderbunny_hi_06.jpg http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2007/03/thunderbunny_hi_02.jpg The car is called the "thunder bunny concept" and is rumored to preview the Rabbit/Golf RS or RSi that might be yet produced, but perhaps sans the wheels. The wheels, though, are the only thing I am interested in. Are there any production wheels that look like this, that would fit a subaru? Wide split 5-spokes that go all the way to the wheel rim... I have a feeling that the answer is probably no. But just thought I would ask.
IwannaSportSedan
the only thing I have found is the ROH mantis... and it isn't quite the same, but not as bad as I originally thought.... http://www.roh.com.au/cms_images/Mantis-Subaru%20Wrx%20Sti.jpg http://www.bgworldwheels.co.nz/CatImages/ROH1/60a_l.jpg what do you guys think? any others? feersum dreadnaught
BBS RK from Saabaru? I like my set, and at $125 each, not a bad deal.
oxide
the BBS RK, looks a LOT better than the ones on the Golf $125 for RK's though? sweet deal.
Gire
IWSS- I think you are moving towards some of the odder Blitzen rim designs... Big JDM bucks to go that route, though... http://www.subaru.co.jp/blitzen2006/catalog/index.html edit- be careful with going down the 'unique' road... I have been there with previous cars and bought some really flashy and different designs, but grew tired of them after a year... Enkei Katana comes to mind! Thanks God they got stolen off my car after 8 months!
feersum dreadnaught
overstocks at saab dealers closing out, now that saabaru is dead. I guess that makes them not really RKs, just the BBS wheels that Saab put on their cars. looks the exact same, though.
IwannaSportSedan
I've thought about the Saabaru RKs, but they aren't any wider than stock... if they were even 7.5" wide, it would be better. 7" always seemed a bit narrow for a car over 3000lbs with as much power as these cars have. I've thought about saabaru RKs for winter wheels, as well as Enkei WRX 17" oem wheels... both look good, but both are narrow... I am split on the Rohs. part of me thinks they are interesting, part of me thinks they are odd. I do like the VW wheels, and in a hypersilver color, they would look great. They look kind of like Ford Motorsport FR500 wheels, which actually look pretty darn good on mustangs, even Fox-bodies. Obviously far from a Subaru fitment, though... http://www.thefordsource.com/store/motorsports/images/wheel/M1007F500_lrg.jpg Somehow I just seem to be drawn to the Y-spoke wheels, with five or seven spoke pairs... 8 pairs looks great, but that is a BBS design that gets copied, and more than 9 pairs looks too "busy". four or six spoke pairs look odd. There is something more pleasing about odd numbers.

PhilT
Not feeling them, sorry. It's nice to be different, but only in a nice way, and you would have a helluva time trying to sell them when it's time to move on. Pyrojones
I found it kind of hard to find the perfect (in my eyes) rims, the off set makes things so limited. I think those look great on that ride though~
