AkumaMax
Has Anyone done this retro to their car. I don't understand why Subaru didn't include this nifty feature. In the rear of the Wagons there are solid pieces that fold out 1 on each side. I think these are for the Cargo net holders. In the Japanese models they have a Power folding seat button next to it. Such a cool feature. Might think about tackling this project down the road. Not sure what is involved but I know it will take some time getting all the right pieces. Much like our newer Foresters have http://www.cars101.com/subaru/forester/forester11cargo5b.JPG
Sublimejoe
Whoa that is super awesome! I haven't seen any sign of this on japanparts.com or anywhere else. I know in Japan there was an option to put a rear hatch fan in that same spot.

Finding the parts for it are a pain plus it's a little more than I want to spend even if the parts are used. BTW if you can't find something on japanparts.com you can always email them and they should be able to get the part for you.
