Kingfisher
I had to go back and rewrite this post based on some updated info. I got an "Added Security" brochure from Subaru for the wife's 05 LGT and it only lists a plan going to 80k. They DO have plans going to 100k mi, correct? A "Classic" and "Gold" from the looks of it. It's coming up on 36k so it's about time. How many of you guys worry about this at all considering the fact that the powertrain warranty runs to 60k? For those of you who opted for the warranty what have you guys been going with and did it pay off, yes/no. Any decent 3rd party warranties out there, etc? qikslvr
I was just looking at my SOA Gold plan that I bought from the dealer when the car was new. We paid ~$1000 for it. Mine goes to 100,000 and covers everything "unconditionally". There is however a $100/per visit deductible. From what I've read around here over the years; everything holds up well, especially if left stock. There have however been a few "freak" failures here and there that could cost quite a bit out of pocket. Let's kick this pig!
Kingfisher
Roger that. That's pretty typical. It's the "freak" stuff that freaks me out. Especially on a turbocharged car.
