bowtoot
Hey guys. I have looked through tons of pages here and multiple google searches. The front wheel bearing on my LGT is on its way out. I found a DIY on here for a 2005 Legacy but do not see one for the 96. My question are? Can I get a complete hub assembly with the bearings already installed like you can with the later models? Part number if available. Does someone have an exploded diagram for the front assembly? I have went to tons of parts websites and am unsure if what I am seeing is correct. Lsnaple
I'm sure you could get the whole assembly, but at increasing the cost substantially. You can get the bearings at your local auto store, they usually have those in stock. Make sure you get the inner and outer seals too. I forget where I had the exploded diagram...maybe on nasioc or sl-i.net. Do you have a press? Because if not you will have to take the knuckle (or hub assembly or whatever, we all call it something different lol) to a machine shop and they should be able to figure it out just fine. bowtoot
Thanks for the replies. This makes sense now and I know which way to go. I was confused with the newer model GTs that have a whole assembly. That is a sweet site. Thanks a bunch.
