How do I get my Navi to play DVD's

Having read through many miles of threads over the past 3 days I haven't seen anything that will work for my car. I have a small DVD-ROM in my glovebox that has a Subi navigation DVD in there. I tried replacing it with a DVD movie and pressed the menu and info buttons but to no avail.

Does anyone know how I can hook up the DVD-ROM so that it plays DVD's through the navi touchscreen? Thnx

Thanks sublo, I saw those threads. So does that mean the DVD-ROM in the glovebox will never play standard DVD's and I'll have to get an external DVD drive?

Untill someone can hack the firmware on either the DVD-ROM or the KNADV3200, yes. You need an external DVD player. I suspect that OEM systems read simply DVD-ROM data and are missing the DVD Codec for movies (CSS).
