What is this part?

The end you're holding is normally mounted in the stock turbo inlet. The hose you're holding is not normal, somebody cut the connector out of the inlet, obviously tearing it up pretty well in the process, and attached the hose to it. The farcical "PCV leak detector" electrical connector attaches to the side shown in the second photo; the PCV hose inserts into the hole shown in the first photo and is held in place by the electrical connector. I'm guessing you have an aftermarket inlet, and whoever installed it didn't know you can defeat the "leak detector" by pulling the jumper out of the PCV hose connector and sticking it into the harness connector.

Oh I think it's coming back to me now I think this was the one that was sideways under the intake manifold I'm hoping when all is done I can make it not look so much like a huge mess.

It was on top of the inlet and pointed toward the driver side. Depending on what inlet you're using, you have a variety of options for eliminating that mess.

The car has a avo inlet but I'm going to change it to something else
