comradmax
I have a 2005 LGT, and there are 2 recalls: - fan relay - brake lines Searching the forums I see that both the Cityside and Wakefield subaru dealerships are rated "horrible" for service work. One of my fans already stopped working, and the temp gauge is a little high. Is it safe to go to them and ask for recall work, or will they rape me in some way? Firepuma
I know a bunch of people at Wakefield. I wouldn't hesitate. I guess it all depends on who you end up dealing with, that being said they've performed my recall work.
comradmax
Thank you, Firepuma, I'll be giving them a call.
Ellesedil
When I did the flip key conversion kit (one of my original keys was destroyed by my snowblower, but all of the electronic components were in one piece and still worked), I went to Wakefield Subaru to get the blank blade laser cut. Total cost? $0. Definitely appreciated that.
thunderfox
I prefer CitySide. Wakefield treated me very poorly when my BRZ had the famous fuel pump chirp. They said it was all in my head. Took it to CitySide and they just replaced it, no questions asked. Might be different though in your case since there is a TSB (I assume) for it. Back when I needed it replaced, there wasn't a TSB out yet for the fuel pump.
