sadd16
Hi I have a Pioneer X920BT navigation that I removed from my old car and would like to use in the 2006 Legacy GT. But from what I've read, it's a nightmare to do this hack job for the double din havc swap. I'm curious if I were to put the deck where the OEM nav goes, would it fit for one? If it fits, what happens when you turn on the factory stereo? Can you purchase some sort of adapter that can integrate the factory dash audio controls to control my deck? LIke volume, next song, previous song, radio stations, etc. How about the audio controls of the steering wheel? Can those be used with my pioneer nav unit as well? zmarko
It's not a nightmare. Just read the sticky at the top of the page. Here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-dual-hvac-double-din-jdm-kit-thread-113589.html
zmarko
As for the steering wheel controls...this is what you'll need. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SWIPS/PAC-SWI-PS.html?tp=3405
sadd16
I think i may try it. Just wished there was a local place where I am to buy it from. Is there any place in US or Canada to buy the jdm bezel?
