mchair
2006 Legacy GT 85k miles - stock. Last 6 mos. +/-, engine runs VERY rough after automatic car wash. 1st couple times thought it was bad coincidence, car looks great - runs like... Now, I can get it to misfire w/in 15 mins of full wash. Hot out, cold out, summer, winter - no difference. CEI Codes set all related to Cam position sensors - Cyl 1 & 3. (Had Cam sensor for 2 & 4 R&R under warranty pre 60k mi. - They (Dealer Svc.) said it was the Mobil1 Oil ?!?!? - another day for that! Had corroded coil replaced on #3. Had cam sensor for 1 & 3 replaced OEM. Problem still occurs . Disconnected Harness @ Mass block in engine compartment - no corrosion there - treated w/ cleaner deoxidizer. Tore apart passenger floor & inspected all harnesses & computer area for water leakage/corrosion - nothing. Please NOTE: The problem "goes away" & then manifests itself again after automatic carwash - almost instantly when using underbody spray. Ideas?
