pacbreak gt
After meeting with a client (mid 60's gear head/surgeon) this morning, he showed me his project car, a restored '68 Olds 442 (the '70 is my favorite). Walking out of the garage, he spotted my wagon, and asked if it was "that new Subaru". He proceeded to recite the stats for the car-hp, torque, 1/4 mile times, etc., and said "You probably surprise alot of people with that car." He also suggested that I "do something" about the stock tires.
Guest *Jedimaster*
That's cool- I love old Detroit iron. Neat that he wasn't a domestic nazi too- some of those guys hate to even look at an import.
j-rock
Olds 442 is one of my favorite muscle cars ever. Neat that he knew about the Legacy.
TSiWRX
My good buddy here at work is a big old-school MuscleCar guy as well. And yes, he did give me props on the LGT when we took it out for a quick turn-key. Yes, I let him drive her, and yes, he did have a grin on his face. "Not bad for a family-hauler!" -A <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
deneb
Here's a musclecar trivia question: What did the 4 - 4 - 2 nomenclature originally stand for?
goat65
4-barrel carb 4-speed tranny 2-(dual) exhaust I too am a muscle-car fan. I own a '65 GTO and will soon be a LGT owner as well.

Anibalz
I'm from a place which is usually the opposite, import freaks that will bash any kind of domestics just for being domestics.
