SomeZero’s SLO LGT

The last thread got out of control as my plans for the car changed drastically mid-stream, I figured it is time to put a proper build thread and it hopefully will be more stable than last time.

The Goal is the same “A under the radar 4 door family sedan, that will whack performance cars with 2 baby seats in the back.”

First big thanks go to all the guys at Six Star Motorsports in Schaumburg and my tuner Gangster. It an awesome to find a shop who gets just as excited about results on this car as some of the real big boy builds they do.

Not sure PMs get wonky.

But some time before you go down my path. :) I have seen your other cars so you will. If your willing I'd like to do a couple baseline pulls with you stock on a specs dyno here for comparison as I never got on before I went e85

Set it up. I have no problem racking the car and letting someone make a few pulls to get a baseline for u.

And I know we all say no not this car but I really mean it. This is my daily driver. I treat myself to a new(er) one every 2 years so I have no intentions to go too crazy with it. One never knows though. Haha. I might go over board, add it to the stable permanently and just pick up a new dd in 2 years. But that's wishful thinking.

I am just about to schedule a dyno appointment for some baseline pulls before do any power mods. The tuner has a Dynocom AWD dyno and provides plots in both Mustang dyno and Dynojet calibrations. Out here in Cali I am running 91 octane tho cuz that's all we have.

I suppose I could put stop at Sear Point (Infineon) Raceway on the way to the dyno appointment and calculate how many gallons of race fuel I would need bump the octane up to 93.

Hmm I know the big difference would be fuel pump vs e85. But not sure what would cause that bug of a discrepancy.

I know the dyno I'm on is locally called the heart breaker as it is uncorrected vs the other locals that correct to 1.7 to 2 at times.
